Originally created in 1941 by John L. Goldwater, Bob Montana and Vic Bloom - Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge went on to become some of the most well known names in comic book history. The timeless look and style of comics appealed to a wide audience and thus setup Archie Comics for a long running successful series.

Here we have Betty Cooper, the talented blonde-haired blue-eyed lead guitarist in The Archies. She is also absolutely infatuated with Archie, constantly trying to win his affections through any means necessary.
