Capture an iconic Alice in Wonderland scene as the Painting the Roses Red Mini Backpack!
After following a scurrying white rabbit in a waistcoat one afternoon, young Alice becomes lost in the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland. In hopes of finding help to return home, Alice takes a shortcut to the royal gardens to meet the Queen of Hearts. She overhears a band of card soldiers singing “Painting the Roses Red” and learns that white roses were planted in the garden beds by mistake, and the panicked soldiers were correcting them with red paint for fear of losing their heads.
Alice wastes no time in aiding the soldiers with their plight. As custom-shaped applique, she stands atop a ladder in the front design of this mini backpack, painting a rose of a heart-shaped bush as the soldiers frantically cover the rest. Clouds form in the pink sky above the royal gardens, which extends onto the side pockets. Turn the bag over and you’ll find a row of red card soldiers, who are introduced in the film with booming fanfare as they signal the Queen’s entrance.
