This altruism continued when he agreed to join the Guardians of the Galaxy alongside the newly planted baby Groot.

He's an accomplished pilot, experienced marksman, and a skilled hand-to-hand combatant. And a raccoon. You have a problem with that? Don't let his furry demeanour fool you; Rocket Raccoon has no problem making his presence known.
